KIDS SUMMER COURSES

Courses are run in June, July and August for Kids between the ages of 6 and 14+. 

Courses are of 5-days duration, from 10am - 4.30pm.

Young Pirates and Sea Dogs courses run from 10 am to 4 pm 

One overnight (Wed or Thurs) is included in the Explorers and Adventure Expedition Courses.

Young Pirates: Age 6 - 8 yrs

A safe and exciting introduction to the world of adventure sports, the young boys and gi rls get to experience a mixture of water and land based activities as well as  games where they learn to enjoy playing and sharing with other Young Pirates. Li sten to them beg for more!

 

Sea Dogs: Age 8 - 10 yrs

A safe and exciting introduction to the world of adventure sports, the young boys and girls get to experience a mixture of water and land based activities as well as games where they learn to enjoy playing and sharing with other Young Pirates. Listen to them beg for more!

 

Find Adventure: Age 10 - 12 yrs

Do you want to get stuck in to something new and exciting!
Now is your chance to experience Sailing, Kayaking, rock-climbing, body boarding and much much more - with some other crazy kids Each day involves a different activity so Adventurers never got bored.

 

Activity Challenge: Age 12 - 14yrs

This sequel to Find Adventure provides an even higher level of adventure and challenge that will suit the skills and experience of this age group. Learn to Paddle your own Canoe, climb a cliff, sail your own boat - surf those waves - Can You Handle It!


Young Explorers: Age 12 - 14yrs

A jam packed multi-activity week, including a two day trip spent canoeing down the Bandon river followed by an overnight camp in a local wood. All the Explorers are involved in setting up camp and shown how to survive in the wild!


Adventure Expedition: Age 14yrs+

A great way of meeting new friends and gaining the confidence to fend for yourself. Navigate your way down the Bandon river by canoe, set up your own tent, build a fire, help to cook dinner and who knows what Adventures - are you up for it!

 

What to Bring:

  •  Warm old clothes (track suit)
  •  Spare pair of old shoes
  •  Packed lunch
  •  Personal toiletries, Medication if any
  •  Sun Block.
