- Abseiling

Abseiling is a climbing technique
used in a controlled way to descend
from the top of a climb using a
rope. It is probably one of the
most un-natural experiences you
will have and that what makes it
so much fun. At Kinsale OEC we have
a 15m abseil on the Centre grounds,
and for the more adventurous we
have a 25m facility at the Old Head
of Kinsale.

Although abseiling involves being
attached to a rope , it is you
who control the rate of your ascent
and so you may go as fast or slow
as you like.
