If you haven't had the chance
to learn how to sail yet - WHY
PUT IT OFF? Its an amazing activity,
you can leave all your troubles
on dry land while you get out
on the water and experience
true relaxation and freedom.

Age
Groups/Suitability
Sailing is suitable
and we provide for kids age
8 yrs upt to grandparents. We
welcome groups of all kinds,
couples, individuals, and families.
We also run disabled throughout
the summer, each evening from
late June to late August

Discover
Sailing
Using our Toppers
and Topaz (types of sailing
dinghy) we will teach you how
to sail. The basic skills include
boat control under sail, rigging,
launching and recovery.
Participants work towards attaining
an ISA Level 1 Certificate.

Sailing Skills
If you have already
dipped your toe in the water
and would like to improve your
skills we can provide you with
a good knowledge of tides, weather,
good sail trim and setting techniques
and also capsize recovery. You
will also get to try our New
Wayfarer Worlds and Squibs.
Participants work towards attaining
an ISA level 2 Certificate.

Thrills & Spills
Enjoy the fun and
get the thrill of flying asymmetric
spinnakers & trapeezing
on our Topaz and Wayfarer World
Dinghies. You will develop your
skills and confidence and become
an independent & safe sailor.
This course is part of the ISA
level 3 Certificate.

Seamanship skills
Develop your understanding
of Seamanship & take control
of your sailing experience.
Master the practical skills
and use them to explore and
have fun understanding tides,
weather and basic navigation.
This course is part of the ISA
level 3 Certificate.
Advanced Sailing
Advanced Sailing
is broken into two categories:
(1)
Advanced Sailing Skills
Develops the skills required
to handle a boat in strong winds,
to undertake extended day trips
and includes learning to fly
a spinnaker, trapeze skills,
use navigational aids, plan
a passage and lots more.
(2)
Intro to Racing Skills
This Course provides a sound
platform to the skills necessary
for racing. You will need to
put in to practice all the skills
that you have learned so far
and experience the thrills and
exhilaration that this whole
new arena of sailing will bring.

Necessary Requirements
· Level 5 Sailing Skills
· Powerboat Level 2 Certificate
· Valid First Aid Certificate
This is an intensive course

3 sailing courses.
